Lika Electronic is refining the design of an innovative torque sensor named TORQUENCODER. The new torque sensor is currently under testing by Lika Lab, the newborn R & D business unit, and is expected to be available on the market by the end of the year.
TORQUENCODER is not only a shaft-to-shaft torque sensor for accurate static and dynamic torque measurements. It also provides information about the speed of the shaft and its acceleration, and the absolute position in high resolution.
A single product combines the functionality of more sensors and delivers several measurement values at once. Furthermore, its all-in-one efficient configuration simplifies machine design, reduces the encumbrance size, and significantly cuts costs.
Typical applications of TORQUENCODER torque sensor:
- collaborative robots
- motor test benches
- screw driving technology
- laboratory equipment
TORQUENCODER also features many diagnostic tools that are useful for defining a predictive maintenance strategy.
The torque sensor enables a complete integration into plants and machines as data transmission is performed using industrial interfaces and Ethernet interfaces in particular such as Profinet, EtherNet/IP, POWERLINK, and more.
